Is it possible for a company to outgrow its name? In our case, the answer is a resounding yes. Over the past three years, we’ve grown from a focused legal tech startup into a trusted AI platform for claims professionals handling complex bodily injuries. As our solution expanded and our ambitions grew, we realized that “legal-i” no longer reflected everything we do​. The name that once fit us so well had become a bit too limited for our growing vision. So, we made a bold decision: we changed our name. legal-i is now amaise.

The new name reflects both our broader value proposition and our international ambitions. While “legal-i” served us well in our early years, it no longer captures the full scope of who we are and what we offer. Our solution today is used not only by legal departments but across P&C insurers, life insurers, disability offices, and independent medical examiners (IMEs) -  in short, by any organization that deals with bodily injury claims and needs to make sense of complex medical, legal and professional data quickly, securely, and accurately.

Beyond his executive roles, Patrick has also invested in, advised, and guided numerous tech startups from inception to successful exit.
